Game Design: Crafting Interactive Stories

Each day will be broken up into two different modes of learning. Mornings will be filled with workshops on how to use Twine. In these workshops, you’ll explore the fundamentals of game mechanics and coding concepts, such as setting and tracking variables, setting up conditional statements, creating dynamic story choices, and customizing the look and feel of your story with basic styling.

In the afternoons, you’ll have the chance to put your skills into action and design your own interactive story, bringing your ideas to life. Whether you’re interested in thrilling adventures, suspenseful mysteries, or heartfelt tales, this class gives you the tools and freedom to tell your story. By the end of the week, you’ll walk away with small projects and tools to create even more adventures on your own.

No prerequisites are required for this program. This class will entail some coding, but previous experience is not necessary.
