Summer Institutes

Residential & Day Programs for Ages 11–17

The Summer Institute Program offers a wide range of single and multi-week arts courses designed specifically for serious, creative, and like-minded young artists interested in a focused intensive investigation of their own art practice. Over the course of the program, students have the opportunity to work with Walnut Hill School for the Arts faculty, as well as guest faculty from some of the country’s leading arts colleges and universities.

During the week residential students participate in evening on-campus activities. Multi-week residential students go on chaperoned weekend field trips around the greater Boston area. Past trips have included travel to a nearby coastal city, mall, and amusement park.
