DEIB Timeline
Walnut Hill’s motto — Non nobis solum (“Not for ourselves alone”) — embodies our commitment to creating an anti-racist educational institution that is diverse, equitable, just, and inclusive for all.
This timeline captures the highlights of our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) journey. While it is chronological, we acknowledge that there are gaps of information, times of little advancement, or seemingly no forward progress of DEIB practices.
The story of DEIB at Walnut Hill is still being written. Every highlight represents a disruption of the status quo and serves as a critical building block for the future.
