Musical Theater

GRADES 2–8
In this program, students will embark on an exciting educational journey as they delve into the world of theater and prepare for a spectacular production in one of Walnut Hill’s state of the art performance spaces.
Throughout the class, students will advance their understanding of essential techniques in acting, singing, and dance in a dynamic and engaging environment. Through interactive games, exercises, and practice, they will strengthen the fundamentals of projecting their voices, enunciating clearly, and building strong ensemble connections.
One of the highlights of our program is that every student will have the opportunity to shine on stage! Each participant will receive a balanced role in the production, complete with lines and the chance to showcase their singing abilities with a solo performance. This ensures that every student is equally important and gains valuable experience throughout the program.
At the end of the season, students will have two performances to showcase their hard work and talent in a fully staged theatrical presentation. This exciting event will be a memorable experience for both the students and their loved ones, as they witness the growth and progress made throughout the program.
