Do you think your high school experience should look different? Well, you might be a future Walnut.Walnut Hill School for the Arts is the only independent arts high school on the East Coast. Located in Natick, Massachusetts, Walnut Hill offers boarding and day students unparalleled training in dance; music; theater; visual art; and writing, film & media arts, complemented by a robust and innovative academic curriculum.

We invite you (and your friends and neighbors) to learn more about us at our Open House, a fun event designed to welcome curious students and parents to our scenic campus on the Hill. Visit class demonstrations in both the academics and the arts, tour the campus, and hear from students and faculty. It’s a great time to ask questions and get to know more about Walnut Hill for the Arts, and discover why Walnut Hill is such an exceptional place to attend high school, whether you’re a boarding student or a day student. 12:00–12:20pm  -  WELCOME TO WALNUT HILL 
Antonio Viva, Head of School, will welcome you to campus and share some insights about how Walnut Hill School for the Arts is educating young artists from every corner of the globe.
WHERE: Keiter Center for the Performing Arts 

12:20–12:50pm  -  OVERVIEW OF ACADEMIC PROGRAM AND COLLEGE COUNSELING
Director of Academic Studies Ben Gregg, and Director of College Counseling Sarah Lovely, will give you a snapshot of Walnut Hill’s rigorous college-preparatory program, and how committed we are to promoting the skills necessary to position our students for future academic success. 
WHERE: Keiter Center for the Performing Arts 

1:00–1:50pm - 5 MAJORS, ONE AMAZING SCHOOL 
Visit with the heads of our Theater, Dance, Visual Art, Music, and Writing, Film & Media Arts programs in their primary teaching spaces, who will offer an overview of each of our arts majors. You’ll hear about program philosophy, current and upcoming projects, and what an innovative arts education can mean for you.

                        Theater – Perrin Theater, Keiter Center for the Performing Arts 

                        Visual Art – Dartley Visual Arts Center, Highland Hall

                        Writing, Film & Media Arts – Byrnes Studio, Delbridge Family Center for the Arts

2:00–3:30pm – CAMPUS TOUR & BECOMING A WALNUT: TIPS & TRICKS FOR YOUR AUDITION OR PORTFOLIO REVIEW
The campus tour and tips & tricks sessions will run concurrently, allowing smaller groups to experience both sessions. You’ll get a tour of our lively New England campus. What’s it like to live and study at Walnut Hill? What’s it like to be a day student here? What are the many benefits of living and studying just outside Boston? Here’s your chance to find out. Then join is for a session on demystifying the audition and portfolio process here at Walnut Hill from the experts on campus. (Psst it’s not scary.)
WHERE: Each registrant will get a meeting place, depending on your assigned group

3:30pm – SEND OFF RECEPTION
This is an opportunity to schedule your own personalized campus visit today, find out if you won a raffle prize, and get a sweet treat to send you on your way!
