Theater Audition Requirements
All students applying to the Theater Department must complete an audition. Auditions generally occur between October and late January for students applying for the Priority deadline of January 15.
Auditions after February 1 will be offered as space is available.
To schedule an audition, please contact the Admission Office at 508.650.5020 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Applicants are encouraged to make arrangements at least two weeks in advance.
Theater applicants must prepare one monologue, and one16-32 bar (1-2 minutes), section of a song. You may dress casually, and in clothes that allow freedom of movement. There will be a brief question and answer session before you present your pieces.
Digital Audition Submissions
If unable to attend a live audition, students may submit a recorded audition using Slideroom. Digital audition submissions should follow the same guidelines as listed above, along with a “slate” at the beginning of each piece. Please state your name, title and playwright for the monologue, and the title and show for the song.
