Every aspect of our program helps you to grow as a bold artist, curious learner, and mindful citizen. A Walnut Hill education is unlike any other in the world.
Walnut Hill School for the Arts is fully committed to enrolling a diverse student body: diverse in terms of interests, talents, race, ethnicity, and economic background.
Affordability at Walnut Hill
While Walnut Hill holds that the primary responsibility for educational costs lies with the family, we recognize that affordability grants are essential for some students to attend. The Affordability Program aims to bridge the gap between what a family can reasonably contribute and the cost of attending Walnut Hill.
We recognize that every family has its own unique financial circumstances. Each affordability grant application is reviewed by the Affordability Grant Committee. Using the information you provide in your affordability grant application, we take into account such important factors as income, assets, cost of living, family size, and siblings in tuition-charging schools in offering awards.

How to Apply for an Affordability Grant
Walnut Hill partners with Clarity in our affordability grant process. To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You can find additional guidance for the Clarity Application in their Family Application Guide.
To make our affordability grant decisions, Walnut Hill uses the information from the Clarity Application as a starting point. We also consider the school's policies, practices, and available budget.
