Teresa Whitfield '25 Named One of 19 "Young Latino Leaders of the Future"

Teresa is one of 19 people recognized by the Verónica Robles Cultural Center and El Planeta as "young Latino leaders of the future". Teresa was recognized for her efforts to use ceramics to combat food insecurity in the community, as the organizer of Walnut Hill's Empty Bowls fundraiser, which last year raised over $6,000 and 325 pounds of donations for the Natick Service Council. This year's Empty Bowls event takes place next Thursday, March 6 at 6:30pm in the Delbridge Family Center for the Arts.
