Ruth Anne Sowa '26: Schmidt Vocal Competition & Boston Pops

Earlier this week, Ruth Anne was one of four winners featured at the Fidelity Young Artist Competition at the Boston Pops. The voice majors were all there to cheer her on, and she brought down the house of Symphony Hall with her stunning rendition of “Piangero, la sorte mia” from Handel’s Giulio Cesare. We are so proud of Ruth Anne for earning this opportunity and performing so beautifully!

Ruth Anne was also a national semi-finalist at the Schmidt High School Vocal Competition at the Sarasota Opera House this past weekend. She was among a small number of performers recognized with an Encouragement Award.
