Congratulations to our Walnut Hill Music Majors who won the 2024 New England Conservatory Preparatory School Concerto Competition, as follows:

Category D:
Jiyu Oh '25, violin; student of Soovin Kim (first place)
Yuxuan Daniel Ma '25, french horn; student of Eli Epstein (third place)

Category C:
Hsuan-Wei Allison Chen '26, viola; student of Mai Motobuchi Rosenthal

Categories are determined by age, with Category D being the oldest group.

Jiyu, pictured here, will perform with the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (YPO) at Jordan Hall on Monday, February 10 at 7:30 PM.
