Klark Rubinshtein '20: Pinocchio

Klark Rubinshtein '20 recently served as the Assistant Producer and Head of Marketing for the world premiere of Pinocchio: The Musical, which had a successful four-day run last month at the Emerson Colonial Theater. Produced by Commonwealth Lyric Theater and named a Boston Globe Critic's Pick, this reimagined classic featured "breathtaking special effects and dreamlike set design", with a cast that included Walnut Hill alum Afanasy Prokhorov '16.

Klark writes: "Working on Pinocchio: The Musical as my first job out of college has been an incredible experience. As Walnuts, we’re creatives at heart, but understanding the industry side of the arts can open doors and deepen our appreciation for what we do. I hope my story inspires other artists to embrace a well-rounded understanding of the infrastructure that supports the art we create every day.”
