Community Academy

Summer Programs
- String Quartet Intensive
  The Walnut Hill String Quartet Intensive provides advanced young string players (ages 12–18) an exceptional week of coachings, masterclasses and a private lesson with inspiring faculty dedicated to each students’ growth.
- Summer Voice Intensive
  Young singers, ages 12 to 16, are invited to join our expert faculty to explore classical art song and lyrical musical theater repertoire in a supportive and encouraging environment.

"Selections from the Little Prince: A Magical Opera" wins Second Place in the National Opera Association's Opera 2020–2021 Production Competition

Walnut Hill's 2021 opera, "Selections from the Little Prince: A Magical Opera," was awarded second place in the National Opera Association's Opera Production Competition, Division 2. Congratulations to the performers, the Voice Department, and the production team for creating such an amazing piece of art!
