Community Academy

  The Community Dance Academy at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts brings students of all ages together to create and explore dance in an inclusive, diverse, and nurturing environment.

Summer Programs
- String Quartet Intensive
  The Walnut Hill String Quartet Intensive provides advanced young string players (ages 12–18) an exceptional week of coachings, masterclasses and a private lesson with inspiring faculty dedicated to each students’ growth.
- Summer Voice Intensive
  Young singers, ages 12 to 16, are invited to join our expert faculty to explore classical art song and lyrical musical theater repertoire in a supportive and encouraging environment.

YoungArts Winners 2023

We are proud to share that two of our students have been named 2023 YoungArts award winners!

Kate Li ’23 is an award winner at the Finalist level for her accomplishment in Classical Voice, and Alex Aranzabal ’23 is an award winner at the Merit level for his accomplishment in Classical Cello Performance.

Kate and Alex are among 702 young artists across the country who were selected, and will gain access to one of the most comprehensive programs for artists in the United States, which provides opportunities for financial, creative, and professional development support throughout their careers. Congratulations to these two Walnuts!
