The facilities staff at most institutions are the Clark Kents of the superhero realm, working day-in and day-out to keep campus in tip-top shape, and truly saving the day when the going gets tough. When COVID sent the majority of faculty, staff, and students home last spring, that wasn’t the case for our facilities team. Considered essential, our small and mighty team continued to report to work making campus habitable and safer for folks to eventually return. One of our facility supermen is Maintenance Mechanic Leo Belanger, who is currently in his 14th year of service at Walnut Hill. As talkative as he is detail-oriented, Leo will spare nothing to ensure every job he takes on is completed with the utmost care. He has greatly contributed to the upkeep and spirit of our School over the years-- a true Walnut Hill Hero.
