2022 International Day of Sign Language Speaker: Amber G

Thank you to Amber Galloway (also known as Amber G, @ambergproductions), a world-renowned American Sign Language interpreter specializing in music, for visiting Walnut Hill this week!

Amber helped us shine a light on the International Day of Sign Languages, which is celebrated world-wide each September. During her two days on campus, she led a special Art360 workshop on ASL, presented at our all-School assembly, and met with various students and faculty—including Carolyn Nakawungu '24 and Madison Stroik '24, co-heads of our new student affinity group focused on disability advocacy and support (second photo).
