Spoken Word poet, Cole Rodriguez was our featured Hispanic Heritage Month speaker. An internationally recognized artist, Cole has competed against top-ranked poets and has worked with students across a host of educational settings. Her smooth, impassioned, and rapid-fire delivery amazed the community. Cole’s performance message was aspirational: Don’t be afraid to use your art to create community, inspire activism, and speak truth to power.
