Community Academy

  The Community Dance Academy at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts brings students of all ages together to create and explore dance in an inclusive, diverse, and nurturing environment.

Summer Programs
- String Quartet Intensive
  The Walnut Hill String Quartet Intensive provides advanced young string players (ages 12–18) an exceptional week of coachings, masterclasses and a private lesson with inspiring faculty dedicated to each students’ growth.
- Summer Voice Intensive
  Young singers, ages 12 to 16, are invited to join our expert faculty to explore classical art song and lyrical musical theater repertoire in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The concert, a beautiful presentation of music from Ravel, Dvořák, Shostakovich, and Enesco, featuring performances by current Walnut Hill music students as well as several notable music alumni Lauren Michelle '01, Jung-A Bang ’07, Tony Rymer ’07, Gergana Haralampieva ’12, and Evren Ozel ’17. The event was hosted by actor and musician Lawrence Gilliard, Jr.
