Next Generation Dance Performances

Performances on the Walnut Hill Campus & at the Boston Opera House

Next Generation shines a spotlight on remarkable young dance talent, and will showcase elite young artists of Boston Ballet II, Boston Ballet School Post Graduates, and the Professional Division at Walnut Hill. This year there are performances both on campus and in Boston, featuring slightly different programs.

The on-campus program will showcase dancers at the Keiter Center for the Performing Arts in Natick on April 29 and April 30, and the May 11 performance will take place at the stunning Boston Opera House in the heart of Boston’s theater district. Depending on the venue, programs include Boston Ballet Resident Choreographer Jorma Elo’s Overglow, Boston Ballet Principal Lia Cirio’s Lenore, Boston Ballet Principal Paul Craig’s new work Gestalt, Peasant Pas de Six from Giselle, Arianna Hughlett’s Quartet, and an adaptation of Samuel Kurkjian’s Coppelia.

The Boston performance also includes a special collaboration with the New England Conservatory Preparatory School (including some of our own Walnut musicians.) We hope you'll join us for one of these special nights to celebrate the future stars of ballet and music, and to see some of our Walnuts (in both dance and music) in action!
