Community Academy

Summer Programs
- String Quartet Intensive
  The Walnut Hill String Quartet Intensive provides advanced young string players (ages 12–18) an exceptional week of coachings, masterclasses and a private lesson with inspiring faculty dedicated to each students’ growth.
- Summer Voice Intensive
  Young singers, ages 12 to 16, are invited to join our expert faculty to explore classical art song and lyrical musical theater repertoire in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Andrew Purdy '16 was recently featured in an article in the Milford Daily News, discussing his role in Broadway's Book of Mormon and the theater training that brought him there! The article includes quotes from Walnut Hill's Director of Theater, Joe Cabral.

Andrew is an ensemble member in Book of Mormon, in addition to serving as an understudy for Elder Cunningham. Catch him at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre!
