Writing, Film & Media Arts’ Spring Crush celebrates the department’s largest class of seniors (13!). These accomplished storytellers will reflect on their time in the program, the successes and challenges of multidisciplinary work, and news about where their creative process will take them next.

Music’s Spring Crush will feature Voice students discussing the creation of the opera The Little Prince. Head of Voice Teresa Winner Blume guides the conversation with fellow faculty member Elaine Purcell Smith, and our fabulous Voice students can tune in from all over the world!

Theater’s Spring Crush features Director of Theater Joe Cabral, faculty member Gina Fiore, and Theater students discussing the making of the Spring Musical and the launch of our first outdoor stage on the lawn! You’ll enjoy meeting these enthusiastic and hardworking students here on the Hill.

Visual Art’s Spring Crush features Director of Visual Art Jim Woodside discussing examples of the end-of-year art show, followed by Q&A with current faculty and students. Creating art in a pandemic is a special challenge, and the creative problem solvers in the Visual Art Department will share some of their process with you.

Dance’s Spring Crush provides a peek behind-the-scenes of Boston Ballet School’s Professional Division at Walnut Hill’s first end-of-year performance in collaboration with the Music Department. As we launch our performances on the lawn, this is an event not to be missed! You’ll be sure to enjoy meeting these talented and dedicated Dance students.
