All School Calendar Opera: Offenbach's "Fortunio's Song"
-
Perrin Theater, Keiter Center for the Arts

A group of young clerks in a solicitor’s firm in the 1840s do everything possible to avoid hard work, in spite of daily lectures by their overbearing boss, Fortunio. His hypocrisy is revealed when they learn about a long-lost love song he used to sing, which “magically” convinced women to devote their lives and fortunes to him. Will they find the song? Will its magic work on true love? Will men ever learn to behave?

Come enjoy the premiere of this brand new adaptation of Jacques Offenbach's rarely per performed comic operetta "Fortunio's Song". Only 3 performances!
