Planned Giving
Planned gifts are not only vital to Walnut Hill's future health, but also can be very beneficial to those who make them.
What are planned gifts? They include bequests made through your will, various types of charitable trusts, pooled income fund gifts, insurance policies, real estate, art, and more. Some planned gifts will even increase your present income or allow you to pass assets to your children or grandchildren with no or reduced taxes. Most of all a planned gift will give you the satisfaction of supporting Walnut Hill students and faculty, assuring that this unique School remains strong into the future.
Donors of planned gifts are invited to join the Beatrice Edgerly Ellison Circle, established in 1992 by Walnut Hill’s Trustees in honor of Beatrice Edgerly Ellison, Class of 1911, who created a $1.25 million charitable remainder trust in the late 1960's. Members of the Ellison Circle are recognized at Alumni Weekend each spring and are listed in the Fall Magazine.
